It's amazing what they thought they could get away with... To bad the Chef's statement was not given in writing or recorded. I am sure it's not the first time this has happened and I wonder how often they get away with it. It's not long ago that it was discovered that video games "disappeared" from the evidence locker in North Providence I believe. It was right around the time the Chief was caught stealing cash from a stripper. No wonder why many don't trust the police..

Although I am very grateful that the ACLU was willing to take on this case, my hope was to get the Chief in front of a judge to explain all of his actions from the very start.

I think that to continue this they should all apply for a CCW permit in Johnston. It would be interesting to see if the Chief denies them for being un-suitable for "firing in a compact area" when all charges were dropped..
