For anyone looking to get into 3 gun, get an old baby jogging stroller and mount ATV gun mounts on it, this will allow you to easily and effectively carry your kit with you. If you don't have one kicking around (I don't know about you guys, but I have 3 in the garage now), look on Craigslist as they can be acquired for less than $20.

I also have done some quite extensive modifications to my 1100, currently I can load 8 shells in about 8.5 seconds average using the load 2 method. Other than going to the load 4 method which could get me down to about 5 seconds, I think that's a pretty good time.

Here are some finished pics of the magazine loading port:

I recommend taking the baby out of the stroller and leave him/her at home if going 3-gunning ;)
Thanks for reminding me about the stroller. I have 5 strollers (!) and I tried to sell one on craigslist, but maybe I'll keep it and make it my 3-gun stroller.

The shotgun stage is all about how fast you can reload. When I got my shell holders years ago there wasn't a big selection and I got this type:
http://www.brownells.com/shooting-accessories/speedloaders-accessories/shotgun-shell-holders/classic-4-shell-carrier-sku100009958-42962-104731.aspx

It's OK, but it not nearly as fast as the ones that are used now where you grab two shells at the time and load and I assume that's what you have. However, I shot one match a year and couldn't justify spending the money on new shell carriers since they are pretty expensive. What shotshell carrier do you use and how many do you have?

I use the Double Deuce Shotshell holder (http://www.brownells.com/shooting-acces ... =100017663) mounted on a ELS platform

With a C&R on file, its $47.

I have 3 which gives me 24 shells on the belt and another 9 in the gun, so a total of 33 shells per stage if need be.

If you want to try it out, drop me a note and we can set something up.

Also for a lot cheaper and for those looking at just getting into it, here are some plans for creating your own chest rig:

Note these aren't mine and I am not taking credit for it, just providing info which was already provided on another forum

The clips from Amazon, you will need 2 bags:

I'll probably keep what I have for now, but I wouldn't mind checking it out some time. For someone who are interested in getting into 3-gun I recommend what you have over what I have. I don't have any experience with Safariland, but their ELS belts look very nice and easy to configure.

I use a DAA belt and blade-tech holsters/pouches with tech-loc, which also works pretty good, but the shot-shell carrier is not as fast as the type you have.

I'm pretty sure that's what this "intro" is all about... Safety, rules, equipment options, demonstration, try it out yourself. I think it will be a basic target setup to keep it simple for this run through.
