Postby Blast54 » Thu Mar 10, 2016 8:41 pm

Projo and the PPD with sensationalism is getting better all the time.

According to the projo, the police broke up the sale of a " EKOL Firat Magnum 9MM" handgun.
Never heard of such a thing, didn't even know there was such a cartridge as a 9mm magnum. Turns out to be a blank gun. They said it has an obliterated serial number! Didn't know they put serial numbers on blank guns either. Learn something new everyday.
Police break up apparent gun sale

PROVIDENCE — Two men with a gun pointed fi ngers at each other when police started asking them questions Tuesday morning.

Offi cers were called at 7:30 a.m. about someone with a gun outside 157 Porter St., where they found a 42-year-old resident standing next to a 46-year-old Cranston man who was sitting in a Jeep, with an EKOL Firat Magnum 9mm in a gun case on the passenger seat, according to a police report.

Each man told the police the same story: The other guy owned the gun. The other guy wanted to sell the gun. The other guy had more guns and drugs at his house.

The gun was in pieces and had an obliterated serial number, plus a magazine and a shell casing.

When neither man claimed to be the owner, the police seized the gun. Both men were released at the scene.

Yeah, they forgot to mention the part about it being a replica gun that fires BLANKS. Not a firearm, so they couldn't figure out what to charge them with, other than being idiots.

I guess that means all the real guns are off the street and hopefully they will stop introducing gun legislation that will do nothing to reduce crime.
