Projo calls out Everytown on spending in RI

The Projo could have made a whole article on how much money Bloomberg spends, but at least they brought it up in an article:
The "2nd Amendment Coalition" has again hired Rhode Island's still-powerful former House speaker, William J. Murphy, for $15,000 this year.

After a recent mention of this in The Journal, gun-rights advocates urged a look at how much gun-control advocates spent last year on their largely unsuccessful effort in Rhode Island: close to $160,000.

That reflects the amounts that the Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund reported paying to its four registered lobbyists (George Zainyeh, Kate Coyne McCoy, Pedro Morillas and Luke Entelis) and companies such as Winning Connections and Hypotenuse Survey and Mission Control for an array of services, including advertising, polling and "patch-through calls."

It is an absolute shame that much out-of-state money gets spent on trampling our rights guaranteed by the US Constitution. I'm glad they have been unsuccessful for the most part (so far)
