This bill has re-surfaced.... It is usually bad news if a bill gets another hearing, so please consider testifying on this bill.

I will be out of town tomorrow afternoon and can't make it. Has the Sub A been posted?

No, it has not been posted so the hearing will be on the original bill.
I find it strange that there is just a "hearing" on the bill, but it will not be "considered"... Maybe they are just trying to find out what the biggest issues with the bill is before they introduce sub A.. The Senate President is a co-sponsor of the bill, so maybe she is pushing it.

I expect the RICAGV, Everytown, and the Moms to be out in full force to push through their bill..

Does anyone have any evidence of Everytown posting on Craigslist they were looking for people to do "research" for them?

I did a quick google search:
Research Job - $20/hr - Temp - Craigslist
providence.craigslist.org › jobs › legal/paralegalCraigslist Inc.
Apr 22, 2015 - Everytown for Gun Safety is seeking two motivated, conscientious researchers to assist in a temporary project unfolding in Rhode Island ..

When you go the link it says:
This posting has expired.

(The title on the listings page will be removed in just a few minutes.)

I assume google has cached it. I was not able to find anything when I searched on Craigslist so I was wondering if someone might have taken a screenshot of the ad or saved it.

There were surprisingly many people there for the hearing. I expected more of the antis, but I think there were just as many gun owners so that was good to see. Some of the antis were clearly not happy with their turnout..
The legislators were aware that there were many issues with the bills (S503 and S520) so it won't go anywhere.

What was frustrating to me was that the original bill was postponed indefinitely at the beginning of the hearing, and instead sub A was heard. However, the sub A bill was not available to the public (and it is still not posted), so how can we testify on a bill that we don't know anything about?? There is something seriously wrong with the process..
