Looking through 11-47 and can't find mention of legality pertaining to SBR or AOW even with the Federal Stamp.
I think they are illegal in RI but can't find it....can anyone point me to the statute ?

Thanks

From 11-47-2:
(9) "Sawed-off rifle" means any rifle with overall length of less than twenty-six inches (26") and/or barrel length of less than sixteen inches (16").

(10) "Sawed-off shotgun" means any shotgun with overall length of less than twenty-six inches (26") and/or barrel length of less than eighteen inches (18").

From 11-47-8:
(b) No person shall have in his or her possession or under his or her control any sawed-off shotgun or sawed-off rifle as defined in ยง 11-47-2. Any person convicted of violating this subsection shall be punished by imprisonment for up to ten (10) years, or by a fine of up to five thousand dollars ($5,000), or both.

Removing the SBR and suppressor restrictions from RIGL should top the list for pro-gun bills submitted to the legislature next session. We need to start being more aggressive with our offense and put the other team back on the defense. They are still winning in Rhode Island. It's just happening incrementally.
