Glock 43 Trigger pull

Postby shovel1966 » Tue Apr 28, 2015 12:11 am

Hello,

Since I have not been able to find, see, touch, or hold the new Glock 43 yet.......I was wondering if anyone here knows if the trigger pull is the same as most other Glock models. Or..is the trigger pull much heavier like the new model 42 in .380 is. The model 42 was marketed as a .380 with the same Glock reliability, same Glock feel and the same Glock trigger pull. Well....it isn't. And I'm hoping the 43 is.

A lot of newer guns are coming with triggers that kind of suck at first. Then as you run through them for a while they smooth out and even lighten up a bit.

That said, it's a friggin' glock, man. Someone will come out with trigger parts soon.

Lighter connector, heavier return spring, and polish the trigger bar. $15 and a world of difference.

I actually ordered the G43 a couple weeks ago without having seen one. I saw several 42's over the past 8 or 9 months and liked them but didn't want another .380 and didn't like the stiffer trigger pull. I wanted to patiently wait for the 9mm to come out. I just wished I would have been able to see one before ordering. Oh well. It's a Glock.

I will also have to see if the parts are interchangable with other models or if connectors, springs, etc are specifically for the 43.

Glock Perfection ... just sayin'

yeah yeah

Shovel brings up a good point. Just by necessity I've never seen a .380 with a lighter trigger than a 9mm variant of the same gun. All the 380s I've ever shot have heavy triggers, probably to do with reliable primer ignition.

I have a Kahr P380 and the trigger is probably the better ones on a .380acp, (with the exception of maybe single action). It's a long pull, but pretty light and very smooth.
